Prime districts of Moscow
Almost the whole top of the Moscow market sits inside the Garden Ring and along the river to the west. Seven areas we cover continuously; the rest of the city on request.
The seven areas we cover continuously
Each has its own supply, its own price level and its own kind of buyer.
- Ostozhenka. The “Golden Mile” between Prechistenka and the Moskva river: pre-revolutionary mansions, small post-2000 buildings, the highest price per square metre in the city.
- Patriarshiye Prudy. Low-rise streets around the ponds, the densest concentration of restaurants in Moscow; supply is almost entirely resale and single new addresses.
- Khamovniki. From Frunzenskaya embankment to Luzhniki: embassies, Novodevichy, the largest stock of deluxe and elite new-builds in the city.
- Presnya and Moscow City. Towers of the business district, embankment blocks and the Krasnaya Presnya park side; the format here is apartments and penthouses with river views.
- Ramenki. The university side of the south-west: green, low density, families; premium rather than deluxe, with schools as the main driver.
- Plyushchikha. Quiet lanes between the Garden Ring and the river, boutique buildings of thirty to eighty flats.
- Zamoskvorechye. Tretyakov gallery, Ordynka and Polyanka: historic fabric, strict preservation rules, and therefore very few new addresses.
Where deluxe-class developments are actually built, by district: Khamovniki — 8, Tverskoy — 6, Arbat — 5, Zamoskvorechye — 5, Yakimanka — 5, Tagansky — 3, Meshchansky — 2, Danilovsky — 1, Krasnoselsky — 1, Presnensky — 1, Ramenki — 1.
The rest of the city
Moscow has twelve administrative okrugs and 146 territories, and we map all of them: which developments are there, who builds them, what a square metre costs. The atlas is in Russian, but the structure is simple and every page is data rather than prose.
